Peter Roberts
Peter Roberts is a vice president of administration and investment consultant at Cornerstone. He is a licensed general securities representative (FINRA series 7 and 63) offering tax-advantaged, securitized real estate investments through WealthForge Securities LLC (member FINRA, SIPC). Since 2018 he has specialized in Delaware statutory trusts as like-kind replacement properties for 1031 exchange and brokers a variety of other securitized real estate-based alternative investments. In the past five years, he has brokered over $26 million of equity into real estate investments through 110 individual transactions.
Peter earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 2001 from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in History in 2010 from California State University, Fullerton. For fifteen years he worked as a full-time editor and writer as well as a part-time secondary school teacher. Peter brings to Cornerstone his expertly honed skills in research, data analysis, and communication. Peter analyzes each new offering and remains informed of industry-wide, sponsor-specific developments. He is passionate about educating investors on the various details of an offering and works closely with investors to identify the strategies and investment opportunities best aligned with their financial objectives.
Peter is fluent in Spanish and spends his personal time volunteering at his kids’ school as a co-op board member. He takes pride in coaching youth sports. He enjoys playing the guitar and ukulele, cooking, and traveling with his wife, two teenagers, and two dogs. His hobbies include playing tennis and competing in marathons. He has finished five marathons, four half marathons, and an Olympic-distance triathlon. In 2019 he won his local 10K in Pearland, Texas.
